Security Risk Assessments
VITL helps organizations secure their data and prepare a security risk assessment. VITL has developed a tool to assist organizations in identifying their existing vulnerabilities in data, electronic media and devices, physical plant, policies and procedures, and other sources that could affect patient information confidentiality and safety.
Meaningful Use Consulting
VITL offers assistance to help organizations meet government standards for effective use of their electronic health record. Guidance includes assessing current state-readiness and making appropriate recommendations for office and clinical workflow changes. VITL can also help with targeted data collected and reporting for Meaningful Use. VITL checklists and spreadsheet tracking tools help clients track and analyze Meaningful Use progress.
Interoperability & Information Blocking Education
VITL makes staff available to walk organizations through the requirements of the 21st Century Cures Act final rules, and help them prepare for compliance. Interoperability and information blocking resources are available on demand and include a recording of VITL’s webinar and an overview document with a preparedness checklist.
