Christopher Vitale joins as Director of Interoperability; Justin Tease is Project Management Office Lead

VITL is pleased to announce the addition of two members to its Leadership Team.

Christopher Vitale joined VITL in June as the Director of Interoperability. Chris will fill a pivotal role in connecting health care data standards with VITL’s products and technology, ensuring that VITL’s work aligns to interoperability standards and meets our customers’ goals. Chris is a pharmacist by training, who has focused on clinical informatics for the last fifteen years, most recently serving as Senior Director of Clinical Informatics at Availity Clinical Solutions (formerly Diameter Health). His experience includes knowledge engineering, systems design, software engineering, clinical research, and data standards, for organizations including Partners Healthcare (now Mass General Brigham) and the American Medical Association.

Justin Tease joined VITL in April to lead the Project Management Office. Justin will guide VITL’s team of Project Managers in refining our approach to planning, designing, and delivering services that use health data to support high-quality health care and public health initiatives. Justin has spent his career in the project delivery and management field.  At Deloitte Consulting, he advised hospitals and national and regional insurers on health care technology delivery. As Director of Implementation for Vermont Health Connect, he helped launch Vermont’s health insurance exchange. Justin helped advance the Project Management Office’s maturity and project delivery approach previously at National Life.

Beth Anderson, President and CEO of VITL, shared, “I’m pleased to welcome Justin and Chris. Chris’s informatics expertise will open up new opportunities for VITL to support our health care community, and Justin’s leadership in successfully implementing complex health care projects will help ensure we deliver on the potential of data sharing to support Vermonters’ good health.”
