Vermont Information Technology Leaders (VITL) is seeking potential partners to provide results delivery services for health care organizations serving Vermonters. VITL currently delivers results (laboratory results, radiology reports, and transcribed reports) to approximately 600 health care providers across Vermont using a licensed third-party system. This is a key service for many VITL clients, as it allows timely delivery of critical results directly into the providers’ EMR. Currently 16 hospitals and labs in Vermont send their data to the VHIE. Using the results delivery solution, VITL routes the results received to the third-party service, which then delivers the selected results to the subscribed providers, where the structured results data is available in their Electronic Health Record. VITL is exploring working with a new vendor partner to provide results delivery capabilities for Vermont hospitals and providers.

VITL is a vendor of the State of Vermont (“State”) and must comply with certain requirements set forth in the State Contract Attachments in VITL’s agreement with the State. Vendors of VITL are sub-contractors (“Sub-Contractor”) if their work with VITL is related to the deliverables in VITL’s agreement with the State.
The State Contract Attachments are incorporated under the terms of VITL’s agreement with the Sub-Contractor, as sub-attachments. The State may modify or amend the State Contract Attachments, and these modifications or amendments are considered as part of the agreement effective at the time of any amendment, renewal, or additional Statement of Work. The most recent version of the State Contract Attachments is posted here and constitutes part of the agreement between the Sub-Contractor and VITL.
